The banners hanging in our church represent the liturgical season of Epiphany, which celebrates the manifestation of Jesus as the Messiah. The color green is used for this time of year and the symbol on the banner represents “Alpha and Omega.”
Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Ash Wednesday service (February 18)

This quiet, meditative service inaugurates the season of Lent by reminding us of our mortality and need for repentance, but also of the forgiveness offered us in Christ and our assurance of eternal life in him. We will be singing, hearing from Scripture, spending time in confession and silence, and those who wish may receive the traditional sign of the cross in ashes.
