All women of the congregation are invited to a prayer time for our church this Wednesday, October 1, from 6:30 to 7:30pm in Room 9 (upstairs). Rachel Raih will lead us through the four steps of prayer. Our theme will be "God is Faithful" and we plan to cover various aspects of our congregation in prayer. Singing in the Face of Death: How the Psalms model and shape our congregational singing - You are invited to join us as we consider how the ancient book of Psalms continues to shape and form the Church’s worship, and ways that we may benefit from the historic practice of psalm singing. Hear from Dordt communication professor and organist Michael Kearney and guitarist Matthew David Montgomery as they share the ways that they’ve been able to incorporate the psalter in drastically differing stylistic church contexts.

This material is similar to what our 12th graders often study in catechism and was requested by some of our members.
