Ever since the fall into sin, God has been at work MAKING PEACE. God has been RECONCILING the world to Himself, and this work of reconciliation and peace comes to a climax through the work of His Son. When WE WORK for PEACE and RECONCILIATION in this world we are IMITATING God.
