Righteousness is a GIFT, not an achievement. So, what is the righteousness for which Jesus says we should HUNGER and THIRST? To DESIRE RIGHTEOUSNESS is to DESIRE CHRIST. It is about wanting Jesus in your HEART and LIFE. To be righteous is to BE LIKE Christ. It's wanting and receiving the Son of God to be your Savior AND Lord.
