God's Kingdom citizens are PROMISED the EARTH because the whole world BELONGS to Christ the King. This is a promise, a GUARANTEE for the future, that affects the present by giving it ETERNAL MEANING... the present is MEANINGFUL because WE KNOW the FUTURE.
