The Beatitudes are SIGNS of Christ's REIGN and the Spirit's WORK in our lives. When you look at your life (however it may be right now), you might think these characteristics are BEYOND REACH...but this ISN'T TRUE. In God's REIGN of GRACE - in His New Creation - we can begin to SHOW this NEW LIFE in our CONDUCT and in our WORK. People like us who LIVE BY GRACE will show that we RESEMBLE our Father in heaven. By His Holy Spirit God makes FORGIVEN PEOPLE into HOLY PEOPLE.
