We need to remember that TO LIVE BY FAITH is NOT having ALL THINGS AT ONCE. Abraham had only one son with his wife, Sarah - this is not the multitude he was promised. Abraham owned only a field and a cave - this is the not the whole land of Canaan he was promised. But, for a man who LIVED BY FAITH, it was ENOUGH. It was ALL a DEPOSIT GUARANTEEING the future INHERITANCE that would come through the offspring of Abraham. In Christ, ALL THINGS are ours by GRACE through FAITH.
