The woman named Rahab reminds us that God's GRACE comes in SURPRISING and UNEXPECTED WAYS upon the people of this world. In the work of salvation there is NO ROOM for self-righteousness or arrogant pride. ALL OF US come in as sinners with NO CLAIM on ANYTHING, EXCEPT by the GRACE that God FREELY GIVES. The unbelieving co-worker or roommate; the unbelieving family member or friend - you NEVER KNOW what God is planning for them. This gives us HOPE.
